Was recording some sounds round my room for a uni project using this portable recorder.
Opened the window and stuck it out with the record level set to high gain and found you could hear a shitload of sounds from all over the place (it was raining slightly too)
So I just went for a walk around town recording sounds. Not only can you pick up all sorts of awesome sounds this late at night with such a highly sensitive mic but you basically get insane hearing if you have headphones on. It makes everything like 10 times as loud. So you hear all the trees squeaking, shit pouring down gutters, people moving near open windows. things happening on streets a few over from yours. It's insane. Did get pretty terrifying if you just stood in a dark alley with it recording. Sounds like you're surrounded by things moving and you could hear footsteps from people that weren't there. haha. Got enough weird rainy noises for about 10 burial albums too, haha

My sister and her GF celebrated their 8th (maybe 9th) year anniversary here in San Diego. They were here these past 5 days. Very happy that they stayed with me and had quality sister bonding time. They left today . I'm alone again . I need a BF. Damn you, brain! Why must you be picky?! eyeh8u! Anywho, t'was a fun weekend!

today i gained the ability to perceive sound specially, and can now relate the experience of hearing sound to the physics that they're carrying out around me.
sound and music are no longer an abstract concept to me, but are a dimension of experience that i am able to observe and appreciate as much as watching a sun set, or the ocean tide.

Causing a bit of excitement amongst my mates in Korea. Apparently as a promo for a f2p WoW clone you can win yourself a date with the girl in the video Gina Choi (G.Na) as featured in my current avatar.

Then a car honks it's horn nearby and your head explodes.
