Or smokes too much weed
Great performance all in all from English clubs in Europe this year
(It's not like I can brag every year about French clubs in CL innit )

Man City is in trouble imo. average squad age is like 29 and they dont really have any youth players who could break into that squad

they have pozo
I reckon Vieira having b-team success and being his wonderful self could go someway..
if they continue buying barca people for the board and continue to look away from british footballing tradition, use those connects and forget about british players (that chelsea, arsenal, united and liverpool are still paying too much for) then that can continue to be a very definite non- risk angle in the context of the prem.
^Also makes sense in a cl understanding.
*EDIT* weird freudian slip

Pozo is 20 and is barely getting a sniff at the first team. and besides Yaya, what barca players have they been buying?

for the boards as I said ?
Beguiristain and that other guy. They basicly bought the board (ppffft ) but for real ( ) , they bought everyone except Guardiola from that era in Barcelona. Which means they have those contacts they are basing this busyness on now. Yaya was probably a 'break out' -buy at that time and Silva and Kompany was being touted by Barca before that change, so they where possibly convinced by them. So it's prolly fair to assume those two guys are behind some of the positive successful inclusions. I know Nasri was someone the owner just wanted and there's stuff like that going aswell too, though.

only depends on urinited
muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch (approx ) more unlikely that any other club could go in their spot as it is
the only thing really representing a problem for them now is the age (which if they where milan could still be a youth team )
I like your attitude.. like lets take these tricksters down a nudge when we can but, it's still a pretty sound structure and with the way football is 'bowing out' to CL and the shiek mandem all around paying for cl trophies ( i mean in slightly undermining the various national leagues), you can be certain they will somehow buy something that can take it a step up next season - like just paying more than now.. there's unfortunately always that.

I mean I can't really complain about foreign investors ruining the game now that Liverpool has got Bostonian sugar daddy's, but one difference I see between a team like 'pool and city is where they spend their money. Liverpool used their influx of $$$$ to build a strong youth and set themselves up for long term success whereas Manchester Oil spent their money on already established names.
