can any1 tell me if mgs4 is worth a watch/play :corndance:
been meaning to play it for ages but have been put off by loads of peps saying its mainy cut scences and they are long and boring as hell.
when you do get to play the actuall game is there ever a point where you have at least a good hour of good play before another cut????

i don't think he's quite grasped the idea of punctuation yet.
or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.

It most definately is, and the cut scenes are EPIC.

Been playing Planetside 2 today, but I just copped Crysis 2, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and Dear Esther. Steam sales, you slay me...

Have you got the DLC yet?
no i heard it's kinda cool though, honestly though it doesn't look as promising as the dlc's for fallout
i mean i still play because i'm trying to get all the achievements but very slowly as i get bored after a quest or two.

The amount of cutscenes in AC3 is really starting to piss me off... You're just constantly interupted every 5 fucking minutes. Cutscene, walk to door, cutscene, walk to npc, cutscene, fight an npc, cutscene, quick time event, cutscene, Fuck off.
Or maybe I've just been playing too much Dark Souls, I don't know.

No 360 mate.
And yes I could skip the cutscenes, but then I wouldn't know what's going on of course.

are they that important to the mission etc ? odd
dreadful games with scenes u can't skip in order to finish the game (or even find your way), unless they're brilliant (diablo 3) but mostly theyre just obnoxious

If you want to skip the cut scenes then the games story probably sucks

Or people want to play a game rather than watch a movie. I read a few places saying the tutorial segment of AC3 runs hours, not minutes, hours...
All games should have options to:
- Skip cutscenes
- Remove onscreen button prompts
- Basic accessibility options for the disabled

That's just the tip of the iceberg too

Onscreen button prompts are the worst

or you just want to play it? lol

Diablo 3 is probably the only game I've seen every scene from... once then skipped them all
