acetate all day. bass sounds better than vinyl.

Yeah, playing out: acetate. Longevity and just listening at home: vinyl.

i got acetate cut purely just coz i haven't had an acetate before.
time can only tell if the plate deteriates enough to ruin my listening pleasure.
I'm sure i watched a red bull music interview where someone said that acetate looked after properly will last just as long as vinyl.
hypereal is some next level business by the way.
commodo saying he don't see the hype with it.
just goes to show the struggles you can have producing music as you don't hear your own music like other people will and sometimes you can't appreciate your own music.

Sorry, there are no “EXIT 054 - Skeptical - Something In The Sound / Talk The Talk” left. All others are either sold or being held in other buyers’ carts. Buyers have 10 minutes to checkout, after which it may become available again.
Refreshed a couple of times and it became available, bagged!

can't understand the hype the skeptical record? is it purely coz 300 are pressed?

I remember hearing them long ago on Jkenzo's show and thought they were bangers.
Was thinking of getting the Tempa release a while back but I just prefer this one over that one, not overly hyped or anything

compared to other releases i wouldn't call it hype. took me a few listens, but now i think it's really solid. somehow reminds me of that consequence plate on tempa.

good plate imo, one of those solid records that i'll play a lot but wouldn't be classed as a banger by a lot of people

Pressing 300 vinyl only no repress after the Loefah fiasco has to be the easiest opportunity to shift units quickly. People who haven't got a clue buying into the whole OMG THIS WILL BE SO RARE AND EXPENSIVE.. 300 is quite a lot, its just the hype that sells it. Well 300 isn't a lot but if they didn't mention it was limited to 300 and the whole Loefah thing didn't happen this plate would still be available in a week/2 weeks probably even a month later.
Turning records into investments, sideways movement.

Since the beginning of January:
Digital Mystikz - Walkin' With Jah / Earth a Run Red
Mala - Left Leg Out / Blue Notez
Commodo - Fuck Mountain / Good Grief
Karma - How Ya Feel / Smear Dub (big up baddis

)
Joy Orbison - Hyph Mngo / Wet Look
Commodo - Shift
considered getting the Gorgon Sound EP but after thinking about it for a while I decided against it. Those tunes don't seem as awesome to me as they used to. Plus Gorgon's got some new stuff coming out soon so I figured I'd just wait for that.
also strongly considering Skreamizm One & Two, as well as The Roots of Dubstep EP (really want Sholay).

aside from DMZ010 & SJR135 they were all new prices, and the SJR plate was pretty cheap. yeah, the DMZ was up there but whatever, it was worth it to me. The Roots of Dubstep EP would be pretty expensive but Skreamizm 1 & 2 aren't too bad.

if you're only after Sholay, just buy the 12" single:

very cheap.
