Yes. =0 Love the Cacoon.

Bergtatt's accessible to non-BM fans and besides that, it's a great album so ye'. And if he's spending mad time in the more rural part of Scotland, then there's no better soundtrack to being there than BM. Not that I've ever been there, but BM is the perfect soundtrack to ANYTHING rural. Shit yeah, rural.

Death metal is the complete opposite of black metal, you can't be like 'I ain't thinkin' I'ma ever be into death/black metal'. It's like saying 'I don't think I'll ever be into gabber/2-step'. Ya feel?

Death metal

Black metal (from the record I recommended, the only tune with clean vocals, but other than the singing, this song is pretty typical BM... ok and you can actually hear the bass guitar)

Death metal's alll about brutality (well these days, my example is actually kinda a bridge between the older 'evil' sounding death metal to the modern 'brutal' death metal). Black metal is about atmosphere (first and foremost) and melody. Even the harsh as fuck black metal's all about atmosphere.

I'll venture into saying that ambient black metal has a distinctly dub like feel to it.[/url]

How DARE you! ='0

Check 'Honor Beats' too, mayne. Wisp is the shit. 'Lyftgeswenced' is the greatest song ever. Except, it isn't, but it's still amazing.

Shit yeah, Wisp.
