was it as rammed/more rammed/less rammed than the last one?
what were the tunes of the night?
like bok-bok i had to stay home and work/save money, alas. would've been nice to see mr nice.
got there early, jus got off the train back..
fuck. stupidly large last night. mic men were jokes "joe nice did not come all this way to fuck about" joe was a fucking badman behind the decks. proper lively. kept tellin us "this one , believe, this one's it" an he was never wrong
some serious sets from all on the list..too much, too much.
big up luke and his gang, dont remember much, but your chest lads, good to see you
my neck and my back!

"off on a natural charge, bon voyage"
i was there till halfway through youngsta's set (onto Ministry of sound for derrick may)......the music up till then was very much in the same vibe, heavy half step, not so much variety as the one before last that i was at with Kode 9 etc but perhaps it developed it with benga and DMZ.still was much enjoyable, brought two mates new to the sound , who loved the bass weight. at one point during a cyrus tune that got two rewinds, one of them lit a lighter right next to the sub cone to observe the bass vibrations and when the bass dropped it blew the flame straight out!!. for me downsides were the the MC's as i thought they brought little to the music and just called for too many rewinds, but hey each to there own....personally i prefer Spaceape or an MC that actually does more than just shout outs , who wants a rewind etc. Big up the DMZ for keeping the vibe alive

thought DMZ was a little subdued this time by their own mighty standards. Cyrus was a real highlight: rolling razor sharp beats and deep sub bass. amazing how snares on the 2 and 4 can sound so fresh right now!
Keysound Recordings, Rinse FM, http://www.blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com, sub, edge, bars, groove, swing...
the reason why i think it was little bit more subdued was due to the organisation fo the lineup... i dunno it when henny plaed uplifting shit... then cyrus then youngsta they keep it slow..... and weighty... then ya had back to back loefs and mala... and well loefah is the bass weight king.. so in a way it was like 3-4hrs of the same tempo.. could have done better to put benga more earlier
henny g, cyrus, benga dmz+loefah joe nice youngsta would have been better!... ]
was still sick...
big up all the female skankers ur breast!
