what sofware for beginners

hi
I just had a simple question about what sofware i should get. I am a big noob if it comes to production so my question is what sofware would be the best to start with if you want to make your own wobbly beats.
(sorry for my englisch)

Whatever you want, there's hundreds of threads on x vs x etc
People normally start on Fruity Loops or Reason. So try one of those for now.
I currently use Sony ACID.

FL Studio (fruity loops) is brilliant for starting out. its brilliant for carrying on as well
try demos of them all.
REAPER is great as well

i think you should start with ableton, it may look scary a little bit at the beginning but it has great built-in tutorials...
and there will be no need to change DAW later

Reason to begin with because it is easy to use and has a nice friendly GUI.
Then move onto Cubase. Its the best. No question.
It will be worth getting to grips with Fruity loops as well just for the step sequencer if nothing else, it makes programming drum patterns a piece of piss.............

try demos out and see which you like and find easiest to get to grips with...
something that someone else use or likes may not be for you.

I dont get why people say start with so n so then move on to whatever, why dont you just start of on the tool you want to use instead of wasting time learning one then moving on to the next

theres a learning curve for any piece of music software you use, be it a synth, an effect plugin or a DAW... and it don't matter what software you use - it'll take you just as long to get comfortable with it as any other software on the market - You got to just download demos then BUY the software you like the most...
Why buy it you ask?
Cause then you won't have every DAW, Synth and FX on the planet on your hard drive and you will sit there and fooking learn it instead of waste 6 months of downloading pointless stuff.
And don't listen to other people going on about Ableton, massive and albino - its all preference, try out as many things as you can possible stand

ableton best of all worlds
production, mixing, performing, fun-tastic
they have partnerships with akai and serato...obviously ableton is going places in the future and already is amazing now

I started out on FL Studio and it's still what I use.
ACID confused the hell out of me and I haven't spent enough time to learn Ableton Live, Reason, or Cubase. You could also be like Burial and work exclusively in Sound Forge.

Honestly mate, use the sequencer in Fruity Loops, and then import it over to ACID, seriously so much more control.

just use demos of them all and you'll get it down. I regret learning 4 or 5 programs before coming to Ableton. But I don't know what Ableton was like before version 7 so maybe it's not a bad thing.
Don't listen to people who say "this DAW is garbage".
The fact that if you think of you r favourite 50 producers...they all use all of these programs, it doesn't matter.
Ableton helps me get ideas down fast as hell (so did ACID when I was using it)
People make epic music on everything...over the weekend I heard some ridiculous shit on someone's Garageband.
I'd recommend either ACID or Ableton.
