Any "breakcore" producers here?

Post by 86. » Thu Aug 20, 2009 6:22 pm

Or "speedcore" and so on.

This morning I was listening to this dude called Red Ruler. Have had his shit on my comp for time, but I was taking it in. It's absurd, but very good.

It definitely exceeds 200 bpm, pretty serious to listen to back-to-back tunes.

Do any of you dabble in this? I'd like some soundcloud/myspace links if you do.

also, speedcore can go up to 1000 bpm? why on earth would anyone listen to this?

do any of you make that stuff? lol

Wooooooow.

there's no musicality to that shit whatsoever. It's like "The very best of"....yet all the songs are nearly identical.

but, it has a scene...so it appeals to people I suppose.

i toy around with breakcore, it's what i was djing before i found dubstep. it's so difficult to make sound good.
nothing i'd let folk listen to yet tho'

i've been to a few events in holland where they had speedcore, at volume it becomes a very different beast... very little actually goes to 1000bpm most of it is in between 200 and 300bpm. i love it

i prefer stuff like this tho - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcxxY3LbolI

tomorrow I'm gonna post this Red Ruler character I mentioned. His shit isn't as absurd as some of the things I've heard thus far.
