First up, hello. Thought i'd do that here as i'm guessing this is where i'll lurk and post the most.
Just got into dubstep and loving it, wish i'd heard it earlier!
I'm in Melbourne, Australia. Is anyone doing things down here? I just noticed before Skream is playing on the 31st which is better than a good start.
I've finished a tune recently with a dubstep intention. But it's very heavy and has a more garage conventional sound but it's not garage, not grime either. I haven't posted it but i should do later. In the meantime what would you say falls into that category? Its 140bpm pretty distorted kicks, low thud bass, sort of a techno feel just really heavy.
Sounds very stupid now that i've written it.
first post, hello, questions, hopefully not stupid.
