can't believe how confusing the English language has become even having different meaning for the same slang.

ENGLISH AMERICAN
bum=good bum=anal sex
lick shots=sell drugs lick shot=shooting

first time i heard them both they were in the same conversation, being accustomed to the Americanisms i was hella confused.

i was acquiring herbs from some local scally and i asked him what he'd been doing today and he replied "licking shots all day man"

surprise took over mainly because of the casual discussion of the days shooting so i changed the subject to that of the product and asked him what it was like, to which he replied "bum that"

I now didn't want to raise the bag to my nose to check the quality anymore, but thought the quicker i give this guy some money the quicker he will go away.

there is no moral to this story but what is surprising is that i still bought the weed of someone who to my knowledge has been running around all day randomly shooting a gun with weed jammed up his arse.

even more surprisingly the weed was decent.
