After a thrilling night at the venue for Rinse FM’s 15th Birthday in July, FWD>> + Rinse returns to matter on Friday 20th November, as the purveyors of the UK’s most exciting dubstep, grime & funky event settle in at their new home.

With tickets on sale from today - and a massive line-up to be announced soon - November 20th marks the start of FWD>> + Rinse’s residency at the Greenwich venue, which proved itself to be the perfect setting as an array of the UK underground’s most thrilling talents, with performers including Ms Dynamite, Skream v Benga, Boy Better Know, Geeneus and Newham Generals coming together for a one of the stand-out events of the year.

With plans for four events a year planned, November’s event will mark FWD>> + Rinse’s last of 2009 and set things up perfectly for a big 2010 for both the event and venue. As such, it will have a fittingly huge line-up – keep your eyes and ears open for more news soon!

I'd also like to hear this, want to go some day myself. I've read up all about matter and on the architechts website etc, the place looks mind blowingly good!

well from his post its easy to tell he didnt like it cos it was ramma jamma and everyone moving around everywhere so you cant get comfy. correct me if im wrong.

It's not above criticism. In a way it's a great venue with a wicked soundsystem, but the vibe can be a bit weird in there, and the drink prices take the absolute piss, I'd like to see anyone deny that. It's also more of a pain in the arse to get there and back from (though the river trip can be fun)

Prob too used to grimey little clubs to be honest! I enjoyed it when I've been there before, but it would never be my first choice of venue to go to.
