not strictly dubstep as you will hear if you visit us at;

www.myspace.com/darkestralrecordings

but to these ears, it shares the mid 90's sound that is comparable to some of the experimental producers that fall under the dubstep bracket

we want our music to be listened to by the electronica lovers, soundtrack music followers, old drum & bass headz, new 'freestyle'/post ipod generation 'no need for classification' crew ... music is, after all, music

hope you dont mind this intrusion onto your forum, the old dayz were about unity, we want to reach out ....

even tho our heartbeat pulses around 170 bpm, we will be making our pieces of art available as 12" vinyl which can be manipulated down in tempo, should you wish, or still - what would be perfect would be that you played it at its natural velocity ...

watch this space for further broadcasts ....

its drum n bass invasion day! run for the hills!

tunes are alright though still, didn't blow me away but at least they dont sound like cheesy nu metal, remind me of that dark angel tune which i liked at the time

These tracks are wicked for what they are, and I used to be bang into this sound back in the day, but all they do for me is take me back to 1996, not forward to 2196. dnb has been here before - and it was great while it lasted.

But this sound ain't the sound of the future anymore. Maybe a new generation will see it as a breath of fresh air tho after what they've been subjected to for too long!

Not saying they're not good - they're fuckin killa, but it's just a timewarp for me personally :|

Hope you sweep away as many halfbaked dnb producers as you can in your quest tho :wink:

And Unlikely, what tubes are alright lol

yeaaaaaaah Toshiro is massive, been waiting months for this

i've always been a firm believer that drumfunk has a lot of ties with dubstep, i wanna see loads of this sick new wave of quality jungle producers turn their hands to it...if you've heard any of Fracture & Neptune's dubstep you'll agree...

yeah this track especially owes so much to Photek...

HiddenSound i think it's just Fracture who makes dubstep at the moment actually, remember Deapoh's added the great new feature of being able to search in tracklistings, so tick the box and search for Fracture innit...there's one set on there which Fracture - The Phone Call (?) is the first tune, so that would be the 1 u wanna go for.
