you can get some really interesting pads by running various odd samples through paulstretch

Haha, this is mint! Just took a sample of Dave Chapelle talking and played it through this and it come out like some kind of choir, not too dissimilar to the theme music on COD5 at the end of a match. Nuts.
Think there was a tutorial for it in Computer Music a few issues back.
Gonna have some fun with this, nice one :)

I recorded my internal sound card (Line out to Line In) Then put it in Pauls sound stretch added some percussion and made an ambient tune

Ha ha this thing is fucking nuts!!

Just firing random stuff through it now. Stretched vocals sound like weird choirs.

Great fun and I reckon could have some serious practical usage for more ambient stuff.

The original input was the, built in out put of my laptop...If you understand that. No external soundcard just run some processes like media player, Ineternt explorer any weird processes you might have just try it. 8)

Would say this is more scary than Ambient ha. Could be the backing to a horror film or something. Sounds sick though.
