alexa.com

search there on your own. they run a url snapshot service, and their data (although most probably not 100% accurate), does give you a rough idea of the amount of traffic we get here. a few years ago we were ranked #95,000 (google being #1) most popular url on the web. by 2009 we were up to #62000. now, 8 month's later, we're up again to 55,000.

all the major dnb forums are listed on alexa as well. this site maybe represents 1/10th (if that) of the dubstep scene worldwide, and judging a music sound by the popularity of its websites is a bad move. its all about the event forums. events give you a much more accurate picture.

Interesting... I'm surprised that it shows more visitors from the US than the UK.

surely electro house has been around a lot longer than the first big apple/tempa releases?

google trends is based on a combination of web searching and global reach...ie...how many places on the web the word "dubstep" is found/used, and how many times its been googled. Its a good indicator for sure.

do you not have any stats tracking installed? would be much better to have a look at those stats rather than relying on innacurate alexa data

dont watch August (because we changed the server in the middle of the month).
and dont watch bandwith, because some things changed, so it is not relevant.

i don't get any serious amount of traffic for my website as i primarily use it to promote local dubstep nights and mixes,
but here's the country stats for www.hyperblazing.co.uk:

61.80% United Kingdom
17.00% United States
3.60% Netherlands
2.60% Canada
2.40% France
2.00% Estonia
1.80% Russian Federation
1.60% Australia
1.20% Germany
0.80% Sweden
0.60% New Zealand

i took out all the countries contributing less than 0.5% traffic
