Musical Pilgrimage

When i was growing up listening to hip hop in the early 80s, i always dreamt of living in Queens & The Bronx to see & be apart of what was happening culturally & musically. Same thing happened when i got into Detroit Techno. I was however lucky enough to witness & be a part of our own home grown hardcore / rave, jungle & dnb scenes and with dubstep now being so universally accepted i wondered if people overseas had that same desire or fantasy of coming to the Croydon 
or Bristol. I laugh because i used to be a Croydon boy before moving to Hackney & i NEVER thought people would be proud to say they came from Croydon.
