I love old primus and think sampling that, or better yet playing live bass, or better yet playing live drums as well would be good for the dubstep community.

Meh, Claypool's kinda good if you're just getting into slappin' and poppin' and tapping, but he's not that special. Besides, I've got a lot more respect for bassists who can make melodic and technically proficient basslines AROUND the drums and guitar while keeping low-end.

Steve DiGiorgio, Sean Malone, etc. Extreme metal bass gods.
