you need to work on eq'ing the bass section for smart muthafucker because all 3 elements (kick, sub-bass and lead) are all fighting for the same bit of space and its sounding very muddy. good ideas on the track though

Cheers!

Yes after reading your feedback and going back to it I can see what you mean.
I've given EQ-ing a shot and uploaded the track again so an update of how it sounds would be great!

its better but i think the kick and the bass are still fighting for the same frequencies, try eq'ing it so the bass and the kick occupies two different frequency zones.
in my tracks, i eq it so the bass occupies from about 60hz to 100hz and cut everything else and have the kick eq'ed at around 200hz - 400hz with slight boosts higher up in the frequency scale

I've been working on it loads since the myspace upload - thanks for pointing it all out as I would of just let it slide without thinking about it really! Like I said, fairly new on the dubstep producing - used to just fluff about before making any genres/noise ha! :)

Final version up soon soon!

some pretty good ideas in that track.
i've been producing for quite a while now, used to do hip hop for a couple years and been doing dubstep for about 2 months now and my mixdowns are still pretty shit. i think its the fact that i just generally can't be bothered with them. i'll just get them to an acceptable standard and then move on.
