So i purchased FL Studio 6 back in April. I've mostly made tracks that sound like midwest rap instrumentals and some grime riddims. I heard some dubstep recently and fell in love with it. Its just that i have no clue how to make it. if someone could explain how i make my drums in the step sequencer that would really help.

like,
step sequencer is...
|1234|1234|1234|1234| then it starts over

how should my bass, drums, snare, hats, percussion go into the SS when doing dubstep? any help at all really would help, thanks!

listen, copy, then innovate!

i think its been said many times b4, a simple halfstep would look like this (x=kick, 0=snare)

x---.----.0---.---- plus your hihats

140bpms yadda yadda use a heavily reverbed clap instead of snare for that truly "vintage" dubstep aroma

but seriously if you listen to ur dubstep records you should be able to replicate the rhythms without too much difficulty
