of the ones I've read/watched....the RBMA Mala one was a standout.

as well as the Kode 9 one where it starts off with him showing off his melodica (?)....gets into his book.

Probably thinking of the wire again - that was a helluva interesting read

the burial and kode9 interviews on the wire are my two favourites, they both show a lot of the philosophy behind the tunes

Yeah the RBMA Mala one is sick.

Kryptic Minds and Loefah is a really good one also.

like this interview with luke vibert
http://www.barcodezine.com/Luke%20Viber ... erview.htm

Q: "For some who see them as rather an enigma, perhaps Tom more than Richard even, how would you evaluate their characteristics?"

A: "I mean they’re both definitely artist-y, which sorts of means they’re stnuc and wankers in a way"

Q: "I knew you were into drum’n’bass, but not drill’n’bass?"
A: "I think it was just because I was the first non-jungle person trying to do jungle in 1994. I just couldn’t do it, I mean I think it was the same story for Squarepusher and Apex Twin – we’d have liked to have been making club bangers but didn’t know how to make it that good. Instead of using quite simple beats we were always a bit up our own arses, so it just came out as rubbish jungle. But loads of people liked it better, so that was pretty cool (laughs).

:D
