CDJ2000

Post by DRTY » Thu Sep 17, 2009 11:53 am

http://www.djsounds.com/09/17/the-cdj-2 ... selection/

Coming out for sale in November, the new CDJs are going to be £1400 ($2200) a piece.

Although it looks like a tasty piece of kit, I think their pricing, along with all the other CDJs in the range, is absolutely ridiculous.

Don't think this pic is an entirely accurate model, but check the first link for a demo of features.

I wonder if any banks will offer mortgages for them?

probably will... unfortunately, it'll only be to the original price before the recent hike (hmmmmm... gotta wonder if THAT was planned)

the 800's MK1 have been pretty cheap in the los angeles area for quite some time now

I hope this drives down the cdj 1000 MK 2 and MK3's

I snagged my used 800 for 300 american

my 1000 mk2 was only 600

its all about craigslist and holding out for good deals

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/el ... 92044.html (MK 2 1000 for 550)
durp...

Been reading alot on this topic. Apparently not!

When previous ones have come out, old models have stayed the same or increased lol.

High demand means they can literally rape us.

ima hearin ya on FM on that one matey!

the 2000 does have some sick features but do we really need more effects and shit? its the 3rd most annoying thing in the ENTIRE world hearing dj's use like phasers, filters etc in a set coz no1 really knows how to use them properly...

although saying that...the 'fast track' effect on the 2000 is a orgasm idea. i know some tunes where i need that! instead of waiting for the fast forward :i:

I havn't read what new shit it has on it, but I can't really imagine that it would make want to spend more money on it... I can't really see why you'd buy 1000s instead of 400s or 800s really. I have stanton c324s, and as far as I can tell they are eaily on par with the 1000s. meh
