alright so does anyone else have days where you feel really uninspired, lazy, tired, or any combination of something that prevents you from wanting to produce, and then you decide to light up a bowl to relax and when the weed kicks in all of the sudden you have this overwhelming desire to create your next "masterpiece"?

Happens to me all the time. As long as you ignore the urge to go and stuff your face full of munch i think it works a treat.

bad thing about weed is that everytime you buy a 10£ bag you have to put 10£ aside for food too. ...

the hard bit is, once stoned, not fiddling with one sound for four hours thinking its next level.

I smoke too much, all day long. If I didnt eat when I was high I'd starve.

Not good for teeth weed either...all that junk food at bedtime, remember to clean your molars

The thing I cant write on is alcohol, totally stunts any creativity.

Any other drugs good for writing? I gave up the chems a few years ago, BS (Before studio) and often wonder how I'd write on MDMA, K, 2cb's, acid etc...

Of course.. that's the whole point of smoking+music isn't it?

Depends...If I have taken a break from puffing for at least three days, then yes I get inspired. For me it's hard to find that inspiration when I have been smoking hard for the last week or two.
More times that not I can trick myself into thinking the 360 will be a funner thing to play, then I raid the kitchen.

I tried writing on shrooms once, Reason was way to daunting and techy, I instead had to go an a nature walk.

problem with this is that most of the time you think you're creating a masterpiece but usually you are just making a load of weird noises with no structure. deep or what.

Most times I smoke it makes me want to make a tune or have a mix. I need to get out of the habit of smoking everyday though, not good for my motivation and I'd get a lot more tunes done.

A big rasta fella once said to me that I smoked wrong - I said but Im totally spazzed!
But apparently once you feel enlightened you are supposed to stop

Thats the hard part ...

I love how music feels when Im on one ... as long as you dont keep going and totally blunt yourself its all good ...
... cos its hard to remember how to do things in the right order on a PC when your eyes are bleeding.

I unfortunately never really got this righteous lesson from the dread - but I see his point

That's usually how I smoke.. a bowl/spliff whatever can last me all night if i'm by myself. If ya get too brain numbed, it's pretty useless and you start to either eat or get off task and watch movies or something lol.

Unless i'm just looking to get wasted of course..

That's the only substance that I can write on. I'd rather listen to other music on the rare occasion I get high.

yess!! bedtime munchies is the worst

and i dont think much else is productive, producing pissed or on real drugs usually ends up awfully messy when u listen back the next day

I don't think so much when you're 12 beers and 8 shots in....but like....over a stretch of 10 beers, kinda thing

Not at all for me, I just sit there and vibe to music and have no desire to make my own when I'm high.

a couple beers helps, i cant remember why but i read somwhere that it stimulates ur brain so u can keep repeating boring tasks without getting bored so quickly

making beats blazed is too much fun.

only problem is that everything sounds good.
