was thinkin of getting one of these.....do you use it mostly for playing drum hits or what? might be cool using with ableton to trigger clipsocta push wrote:MPD24 always..

really well built hardware. it doesn't break easily and it always worked 100%.

I use my Oxy8 for keying in synths, etc...
For live sets I use the Oxy8 plus an X-Session (it's all about the crossfader).
I really want a 61key controller for studio work as well as the APC40... but those will need to wait till I can find some way to fatten up my wallet a bit.

studio wise:
NI Maschine, Korg Padkontrol (Meh... never use it though), Edirol PCR500. I mainly just use Logic's caps-lock keyboard and Maschine, if anything else though.
live:
Maschine + SCS.3D. I want to snag a BCR2000 though.

I use an M-Audio Oxygen 49 because im poor as shit. Does the job perfectly though.
