Having just got an apc I was about to get really pissed off. However it doesn't really cover the same functionality as the APC. The 8x8 grid is definitely nicer than akai's 8x5 one but you'd need another controller too with that one so I'm not too upset.

Yeah I agree and the lack of pot controls means its actually kind of limited in comparisson
Im sure there will be mods for the APC that will make it almost as good as this launch thing

I got my APC to help me write and arrange more rather than play out - this is really a corporate monome for performance

Which is good cos I was feeling a bit dumb for splurging the cash so quick on my APC cos I couldnt wait to see what this was :z:

Man this thing looks sweet. one of them and a nano kontrol or a nocturn, and blam apc beater for half the price and its all usb no ac adapter needed.

Is there two way communication with this thing, like clips flash when they're triggered but not playing. Whats the price. Shit.

I was just sitting here lamenting my beautiful mpk49, trying to figure out where I'd put the apc on my desk, with all of the redundancies of knobs and faders between them. This could change the game though... Eops, if I had a job right now, Id'v already bought the apc, maybe poverty is a boon?

This looks cool, though personally I'm thinking that I'm still leaning towards the APC. I really want the crossfader plus the faders and knobs. The price is looking good on this though. I will have to research more...

FACK, 200 dollars... That is cheap, versus the akai at $400. Damn, you could get two LP's...

I'm thinking the LP + mpk49 would just about do it...
