Question for anyone using Torq

Hi,
I know this isn't strictly a production question but not sure where to put it. These days I seem to have lots of vinyl and mp3's/CD's. I have Tech 12's but no cd deck(s). So I'm thinking about Torq. Serato is way outta my £ range right now. I was wondering with Torq whether you can just run a control vinyl on one deck and play mp3/wav etc off of this and normal vinyl on the other. Is this posible or is this something you can only do with Serato?
Thanks

I've had torq and the technics 1210's for a awhile.. I believe when you are in "Torq" mode with the digital control vinyl, you cannot use regular vinyl along side it. im about 70% sure, so dont completely give up hope. If there is a way, it must be really complicated.
Visit the Torq & M-Audio boards, and if I'm wrong im sorry. But im excited to know how if its at all possible, cuz i would take advantage of that function.

Yep you can. There are little jog wheels on connective that switch between source and digital signal. It works just like serato.

Yeah maybe I misunderstood the question.
FSTZ is right - amputee mode lets you use one deck to control two digital decks.
Serato does not have this functionality as far as I'm aware but it let's you mix with the keyboard (push/pull and other cueing functions - I saw Evilize do this in London ON when there was only one deck and she fucking killed it. I was ready to ask her to marry me there on the spot.)
So you drop a tune in smash the fader over and then switch the deck that is being controlled for queing your next track up. That's how Amputee mode works.
