Massive Automation FL9

Post by Njamimars » Mon Oct 05, 2009 6:40 pm

Hey guys.

I've been working some time with FL8 and massive I had no problem with automating the wobble.

But In FL9 I can't figure out how to automate the LFO in massive.

Anyone has a solution?

If you mean the "last tweaked perameter" option, its now under the Tools menu

BOOT006: Haack - Fading/Below
BOOT007: Oceania - Cracked Out E.P.
BOOT008: Promise One - Glyph/Dissonance
REBOOT001: Oceania – Cracked Out / Project Midnight – Welcome To Reboot (Out now on 12" & digi)

Is it better now that its under tools? I don't know yet, haven't spent much time in there lately.

I dunno but changing anything to where you now have to "leave" the synth in order to do something is bad in my opinion, especially when you have to go into menus elsewhere. Bad for the workflow IMO. Seen lots of complaints and confusion about it.

that's news to me that they moved it. haven't used massive or anything else that required me to automate the last tweaked parameter lately though.

Move the knob you want to automate > Goto Tools > Last Tweaked and select edit events, create automation clip or link to controller depending on how you want to automate or control the knob.

Yah, I can't find a good reason why they moved this besides BRUTAL RETARDATION :u:

You know you can still just click on the pull down box in the upper left corner on the FL wrapper of the vsti and go to Browse Parameters. This will open all the midi controlled knobs for that vsti and if you just click on a knob it will follow it in the Browser. Then just right click on it and link to Controller or Edit Events so that you can automate it.

This is useful if your going to control more then one parameter of a non FL vsti.

no, and they don't have custom shortcuts/hotkeys to create one either. i know it's been suggested in their forums before.
