On friday the 6th of november we will bring you DrumClinic round two, and what a great night we have in store.

We will be hosting some the freshest and most established names from the iconic Planet Mu label. Set up independently in 1998, Planet Mu has had its roots in electronica and IDM styles but has never been a label to rest on its laurels. Continually pushing the boundaries of electronic dance music, it has been at the forefront in bringing us some of the most forward-thinking dubstep, grime and post-garage producers, while also paying homage to the forefathers of those sounds.

On the night we will be well and truly cranking the bass up with a lineup celebrating the diversity of this great label..

NEIL LANDSTRUMM.....
First up is NEIL LANDSTRUMM, making the trip down from Scotland, Neil is a man who has effortlessly put his hands to many styles over the years. From early bass laden experiments in the wonky techno field, through to hip hop beats, he has recently been heavily influenced by the dubstep and ragga styles. His new album 'Bambaataa Eats His Breakfast' shows his respect for the nu-skool, merging influences from grime to the synthetic funk of Joker and Rustie and knitting them tightly around his post-rave aesthetic. Carrying with him a wealth of performance experience, expect a truly absorbing live set from a renowned international artist.

MILANESE
Next up is MILANESE, a producer who has been in demand since his debut mini-album '1up' in 2004. Crafting razor-sharp, abrasive rhythms alongside heavey dub, grime and ragga influences he has presented us with some of the most intense, futurist bass music we have heard in recent years. Alongside his dark experimental work he has also been reponsible for releasing some big anthems in 'Caramel Cognac' and 'Dead Man Walking' with Virus Syndicate. Having rocked crowds at The Glade festival and Bloc weekender his dancefloor focused livesets are something to behold and we cannot wait to hear his set at Drumclinic. This could be the last set you see Mialnese do in manchester as hes retiring soon....DONT MISS THIS, LETS GIVE HIM A PROPER MANC SEND OFF!

SLUGABED
Also on the bill is Bath hero SLUGABED. Just recently signed to Planet Mu this youngster has been responsible for some the most breath-taking wonky styles we've heard this year. Any fans of Zomby or Mike Slott need to check this producer out asap! Expect him to play a rang of styles on the night, from crushing, off-centre hip hop to cranking, cyber funk, To sheer jaw breaking dubstep.......and back again!

SYNTHEME
Finishing off the lineup we have a lady who has infected our ears with some of the most blistering, funk-fuelled acid we've heard. Having her debut album, 'Lasers n shit', released in march this year SYNTHEME has delivered a vast array of tracks sure to please any fans of the acid house era. She has in the past been rumured to be both Aphex Twin and Global Goon, a fair testament to sheer quality of her productions. Expect a set full of jacking house and tweaked out, acid.

Also supporting will be local bass merchants Glover and Teutonic Kaboom alongside residents Mouzone, Musashi, Original Face.

Hosting the night for us will be MC Strategy from Broke 'n English with Eman on visuals.
