Slof Man - Pretty cool guy

Post by the-devo » Wed Oct 14, 2009 6:29 pm

i think Slof Man is a pretty cool guy. eh produces real dubstep and doesn't afraid of anything.

No, seriously. This guy must be shot to death with an SL9 sniper rifle. :u:

What is Dubstepforum's opinion on this pretty cool guy?
Hip-Hop had the advantage of being born before the age of information (the internet).
It had time to develop naturally into the complex subculture it is today. Dubstep didn't have a chance.
If Hip-Hop was a fully developed husky feared by millions, then Dubstep is the inbred chihuahua on steroids incapable of living but adored by billions.

That is exactly what I did. Now my tune is being played in Australia.
The meaningless wobble is disgusting in the song I posted. This guy is murdering the genre with his pointless disco shit.

EDIT:
..still unimpressed.

If you guys think Slof Man makes cool tracks, I really don't see why you hate on 16 BIT and Rusko.
Before you deny it: I've read at least three threads during the summer, where users were hating on 16 BIT saying how (negatively) disgusting their tracks are.
And I know most (if not all) of you hate Rusko.. well, most of the hate is always jealousy.
The disrespect or dislike I feel towards Slof Man's music could be jealousy too, I don't know. But one thing is for sure; If this is jealousy, it's not his talent that I want to possess (lol fuck no). What I find unfair is the amount of love and fame he gets while there are quite many talented and almost completely unknown dubstep producers on this forum.

The wobbles in the song I embedded in the thread make absofuckinglutely no sense.

I don't know.. since I don't see many people agreeing with me, I could be wrong, and maybe I have the wrong idea about what dubstep is.
But this song/style is just as painful to me as when 50 Cent calls himself the king of the Underground.

Do we really have to let the same thing happen to dubstep as what happened to Hip-Hop?

What if I'm not particularly fond of all 3?

At least Rusko & 16 Bit know how to make tunes sound really good.
