plastician - retro

Post by thrush » Thu Oct 15, 2009 3:51 am

is plastician's retro ever going to be seeing a vinyl release? in the thread of his annual may mix for 2009 he said he wants it to hit wax, would definitely definitely be keen to drop that in the dance.

ps. this was originally about mala's level nine AND retro, but i have since discovered level 9 is out and am now after details on just retro :D

He only full finished Retro like 2 months ago.

I remember him saying it on his facebook.

Big, big tune. Would like to see him pull out another fresh banger and stick on the flip.

we're putting together an E.P.

Got it signed to a U.S. label, just looking for a suitable home for UK release.

Gonna be a 4 tracker, all unreleased new stuff - just finishing off a couple of tracks now and hoping to vocal one of them too.

OK

We're finalising the E.P. on Trouble & Bass

currently got

Retro
Elixir
Pwned
Example Track

we also now have a vocal mix of Retro and Example Track by Doctor. Retro mixdown is done, Example track to be finished this week.

Also have a possible vocal mix of Pwned but we'll see where we are with that in a week or so. I'm not sure on release date as of yet. Retro (instrumental) will also feature on the "This Is Dubstep" Volume 3 CD.

Just bought a brand new PC, Soundcard and Monitors so hoping to get back into the swing of production by the end of the year.

I've got some other unfinished bits - check "Alone Time" on youtube. More of a chilled vibe for those into that japan-esque sound

Here's the vocal mix with Doctor - the plasticman / streetfighter / bomb samples are only there to stop people from ripping it and playing it just yet

damn so good!! Please don't make it one of those ones where it is given to just about every DJ on the circuit and takes another 6 months to get released!
Instramental's the one for me though :)

Don't worry these will all be out real soon.

I just need to mix down the next vocal and then it's ready pretty much
