Coming all the way from NYC:
SELECTOR MOLDY (Heavy Pressure, Offshore, Thermal Recordings - NY)
His DJ career spans more than 8 years and he has graced the decks in Portland Maine, Boston, Hartford, New London, New York City, and South London at nights including Elements, The Rinse, Runnin’, Pressure Sessions, Threshold, Acupuncture, Agency, Camouflage, Direct Drive, Homegrown, Konkrete Jungle, Push, Recess, Dub War 4, Dub War 5, and Total Niceness. He has shared the booth with talent including Adam F, Breakage, Digital, Dara, Dieselboy, AK-1200, Clever, Sileni, Juju, Liondub, Loefah, Joe Nice, and Luke Envoy.
Moldy’s sound has been described as clean, melodic, and cinematic. With beats often leaning into Dancehall Reggae or Hip Hop territory, his tunes drop with an exclamation point; carried by heavy-hitting dub-wise bass lines. Attentive listeners of all genres will be down with the subtle elements he weaves into his productions; music which moves the dancefloor and engages the mind.
