Obama wins nobel peace prize. Why?
Hard to believe that a U.S. President can win a peace prize while engaged in two wars.
Can some one please inform me as to why Obama has gotten a Nobel Peace Prize when he has yet to do what he has gotten the prize for?

it's a cult of personality.
he's the most marketed, most commercially accessible president in history. i think people are so blinded by his celebrity that they are ignoring any real events.
he was chosen out a record number of candidates for that prize and to date still has not followed through on any of his campaign promises.
the nobel prize after less than one year of presidency with no real obtainable accomplishments under his belt?

It's great to see people bringing this up!!!! I'm sorry Obama lovers & supporters, he has done NOTHING!!!!!!
He said taxes wont go up if you make less than 125,000 a year, but we are getting taxed more.
He said he would take troops out of Iraq & Afghanistan within a year. But we are deploying 140,000 more.
He said they wouldn't spy on the American people, but there's more wire tapping, internet spying, and other civil liberties being infringed on.
He said their would not be any signing statements, but he has continued with it anyway.
He lied alot!!!

Obama is great, you just need to hear him speak in a club on a proper rig. You just wouldn't understand it on your ipod earbuds.
