It’s been a long time coming, and with a roster that most other labels would pawn their offices for, RAMP Recordings are set to hold their first official event on November 25th 2009 at the dream-like Lightbox in Vauxhall, London.

Championed weekly by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, and heavily backed by Gilles Peterson, L.A. resident and newly signed Tokimonsta makes the flight all the way from L.A. for an exclusive London show. Recently accepted to the RBMA, back home Toki rolls with Flying Lotus and fellow RAMP label mate Ras G, and is readying her “Cosmic Intoxication” EP, which is set to drop soon. Next to step up, and with a debut live PA show no less, is SBTRKT & Sampha, performing amongst other future garage joints, the highly anticipated RAMP single ”Break Off”, currently being battered by Annie Mac & Sinden, and highly tipped for huge success next year. Joining Toki from the planet's current hot bed of talent that is L.A., P.U.D.G.E follows his astounding session for Mary Anne Hobbs with his European debut show, dropping knowledge from his upcoming “Idiot Box” LP. The RAMP contingent is in full effect, with funky/garage monkey Shortstuff, A.D.H.D. riddled problem child Slugabed, and the big boss man, Tom@RAMP, a.k.a. The White Suge Knight, firing bullets from behind the decks.

That place looks amazin in that pic.

I posted this in another topic but not sure it was best suited there, and as I am a hip hop artist probably best if i start in here! new to this forum but this was my earlier post

Hey Guys.

Good forum. I was wondering if somebody could give me a couple of tips. There is a couple of things, mainly about Mastering. (I know a lot of this has probably been discussed before but I can't find exactly what im looking for, sorry!)

Firstly, 'Limiters'. Can you have a 'limiter' and a 'Maximiser' on the master? I currently produce in Fl Studio 8, and usually have a Limiter on the master (but reduce the Gain to 0db so both the Gain and Ceiling are set to 0db) and then have a Maximiser.

Second question, compression. Is compression essential on the Master if you use the above? If so is it better to have a multi band or a single compressor?

Last question:)... I was at the studio a couple of months ago and the producer said that particular track that I was adding vocals to had 'No Stereo'. I always use a stereo enhancer on the master, is that what he meant?

Thank you guys, really appreciate the help:)
