are you on about the region? if so highlight the region and press m. (mutes/unmutes the region)
are you on about the piano roll? if so make sure the little speaker is pressed into green (think it's a speaker? either way it turns green on pressing)

yeah you can also mute the midi notes as well as regions. Just highlight them and press m as lowpass said.

na they havent been muted. think i might have accidentally pressed some macro and done something.
not too sure whats going on really. only certain noted have been switched to white aswell not everyone in the region which is strange.

Highlight the notes in the piano roll and press M, that will unmute the individual notes. Also you sure you haven't got automation of it muting?

one time i was fucking around with the arp, and i must have done something weird cause id tried to play other regions on of tracks and the whole song was silent besides the arp. hah my solution to this was to delete to arp track, this did work. so i copied all of my midi regions and then deleted them then pasted them back on to the sequencer, for some reason this idiotic attempt to reclaim my song worked! just thought id share a little story.
