to be fair the vast majority are full of shit. i mean what nights are the ones which are really packed? caspa, rusko etc.

was at a skream show in sheffield a few months back and i swear the floor was pretty empty until he dropped in for the kill. and he was playing some fire!
students are just on the mainstream jump up 90% of the time. but yes, there are exceptions.

and to op. probably doorly lol. some week cheese. rusko/doorly etc. i heard crookers are making some dubstep now. just get on the remix badwagon and people will go apeshit. its all about entertaining the tang

whoevers doing those dub n run label vinyls, they always seem to have a remix of an indie tune, with a remix of a dnb/90s rave tune on them..
students love indie and pot noodles. apparantly.

 pot noodles all the way, indie not so much...

/On Topic/
Play variation. I am a student myself and would much rather go to a gig where there were different sounds being played, too much off one thing is not good i find. :)

i dnt understand the hate students get on here

this kinda stuff's more popular end of... doesn't matter if it's students or someone else..

since when does getting an education mean you don't listen to a variety of music?

I run a successful predominantly student night.

Recent guests we've had are:

Joker
Goth Trad
Oneman
Commix
Alix Perez
Silkie

For coming nights we've booked Breakage, Toddla T, and are about to book Club Autonomic.

Maybe students in Norwich are just better.

(To conclude, play some Joker and you'll probably be surprised. His remix of Simian Mobile Disco would be a good opening or transition song to get them in the groove if you're worried how open-minded they are).

people who think all students only like the wobble are as closed minded as those students that do only love wobble.

toddla t lol

and of course all students arent fucking posers. but i know a lot of them are. there are a hell of a lot of people who cant comprehend that dubstep isnt all tear out filth. and a large amount of the girls there are just there for the image. my ex and her mates go to as many dustep/dnb etc nights, and not one of them honestly say they like dubstep.

The bulk of your common garden variety 'Students' only react to LFO abuse from what i've seen in the uk - its a fact.

basically just became student and I aint into the jump up. Like at all. So iv kinda been educating a lot of heads to whom knew not that there was actually more than just jump up. got a little night goin now spread by word of mouth where i will play the stuff i am liking ranging from 2006 tunes to new releases. Not one jump up. I have literally been havin people come up and ask what genre it is and be shocked when i say dubstep. oh well. It will happen im determined. but fuck it, my union literally just plays pop 99% of time...

however pot noodles rule. bombay badboy.
