Glaswegians speak up!

Mainly through boredom/curiosity i've just seached for Glasgow on the forum, and was surprised by the ammount of folks posting here who seem to come from no mean city, given that there were about 4 weedgies on here when I first joined.
What was even more surprising is that some folk didn't seem to think there was much going on is this town

. Do newbies know there is an events forum?
Anyway, if your from, or live in Glasgow then take a minute to say hello!
You can call me Gordon btw

I'm originally from Glasgow, though moved to Australia 6 years ago. I've not been back since actually, and miss it heaps - hopefully should be back in the next 6 months for a visit, a bottle of Bucky and a greasy sausage supper from the Blue Lagoon under the heilanman's umbrella

Yeah that's what I was thinking and why I started this thread. I think in over three years of being on here you are the only person I have got to know from here personally paulo, which is quite sad in a way. And there's folk who have been on here a while who obviously go out to all the nights too. Perhaps we should turn this into a "this is what i look like, say hello the next time" thread.

steven.
i've been a member on here for a couple of years now but hardly post. Glasgow is great just now but then Glasgow has always been great for music.
I am also looking forward to hessle. It's really the first night since Martyn that i've been super, super stoked about.

Yo - from Edinburgh, but regularly spend weekends or nights in Glasgow.
Fortified and Ballers are holding it down! (also a bunch of other nights really pushing these sounds through there)
Edinburgh's not so bad, but we don't always get the bigger names. That said, nights like Volume are getting brilliant bookings!

yeah glasgows getting decent for a night out, the numbrrs and fortified boys are putting on some heavy nights, wasnt at the last joker night cos of work but i was at the one at stereo. Try to get to as many as I can but its not the easiest what with work/weed addictions.
