First dubstep tune, feedback & help appreciated

Recently moved from producing strictly drum & bass to dabbling in dubstep, big up to Bowzer for the technical assistance!
My first fully completed tune, would appreciate structure and mixing tips from anyone. My jungle mixdowns are pristine, but I'm finding it odd to mix the drums & the bass in such a different kind of dynamic setup.

take out that bouncey synth from the drop
would sound better coming in later
everything else is solid

Personally I found this a bit too musical to really fit into the dubstep sphere. Also the rhythm isn't that breaky and doesn't really make me want to dance. Its not to say its bad but I guess without my dubstep head on then I'd say it was a little dull. Dubstep is all about trippy funky vibes. This has more of an 80s industrial feel to it due to the straight up 4/4 5/13 snare hits. To me it doesn't feel very dubstep like. Reminds me a bit of Praxis and Bill Laswell etc.

well im on a shit internet connection, it'll take me a half hour to DL it from home, but what i WILL tell you is, welcome to dubstep, i too, am a rather recent convert from dnb. also, the only thing in dubstep that is formulaic, is that there is no formula. make what works. if your in south london, then theres already a style people dig there. If your somewhere else, create a new style, and see what peeps are feeling at shows.
find the line between expressing yourself, and entertaining others through sound
ill see if i can DL this at school on wednesday.

Dubstep" is a word.
A series of symbols. English language letters.
Probably a retro term for a time past - even if only a matter of days, weeks, months.
If you want to throw down a a funky, psy, spoken word, dub-less creation -
then do it.
In 5 years time Dubstep will - hopefully - have travelled forward / sideways / across / beneath.
East, west, north, south, London, Berlin, Altanta, Sydney, Beijing or your bedroom - it isn't important.
Dubstep is a term of convenience - not a dictation.

nice work on the production too - more Canadian dubstep producers the better
though it is kinda hard makin beats with tree bark, polar bear skin drums, and icicles in our igloos... eh?
