ANGRY...

Post by steshine » Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:17 am

WARNING: OPINIONS AHEAD!

not the tune by the Bug but the general of a night i attended last night.... every tune was that metally voice sound which caused large numbers of people to mosh and go mental in a small space, swinging every where it was dumb...
When you go subdub in leeds people of so much more chilled and can skank and leave space for the hundreds of people surrounding, yet at a smaller night it's just pure rage and anger... where did it come from? when did all songs that djs play contain the some melody sound and have that angry feel to it?
without sound like a really old git (which i ain't) what on earth happened?
I don't wanna get smacked in the face when trying listen to this music.... actually... i don't want to listen to this music.... i want to go to a dubstep night and hear dubstep... not metalstep or electro...
It had been a while since i had been to a night... and now i remember why

mate i fuckin hate it also- this year at radio 1's big weekend, chase and status were on lineup, aswell as enter shikari..
went to see enter, pit as expected.. like i only just jumped into it and got clapped by some fucking huuuuuuuge bloke.
Chase and status had a pit also, why... FUCK KNOWS.
The fun of a good ol' dubstep skank is going, its turning into CAGE RAGEEEEEE!

events should be held with "Any pits, GTFO."

its all about an aggy little skank to certain dusbtep and dnb, but not everywhere.

I wouldnt walk into a DMZ night and start throwing windmills, at the same time, I probably would get super low n grimey if i was at matter and wiley was spittin over n-type!

i do think proper "pits" should stay with metal and hardcore though. nobody enjoys their fresh pint being kicked out of there hand
PLEASE will someone sell me:

KRKN001 - Obeah / Wolf Man - Copenhagen Massive / Eye Of The Demon
+
WAR001 - Bob Marley (Matty G remix) - War

I love you long time

So can standing still. In fact if I went out and stood my ass about all night I'd consider the night a loss. I can nod my head at home.

You know that if it's on that you ain't drawing for no metal.
I know them rap songs got you thinking you're some kind of G.
Well if that's the case, then Que Sera and what will be will be

Has anyone stopped to think for a second that maybe it's not the DJ's fault?
The job of a good DJ is to entertain his/her crowd and read what they are enjoying and play in that direction, correct?
Maybe it's the people that are dancing crazy that make the people dance crazy?
No, I don't necessarily agree with mosh pits at gigs, there is a time and a place but if other people are having fun then maybe you came to the wrong event...

Somewhere back in time, dubstep changed from cannabis influenced deepness to alcohol influenced rage music..... :u:
