Adding effects to single patterns on FL studio 8

Post by TomG10-7 » Sun Nov 15, 2009 10:18 am

Hi, How do I add effects to single patterns in FL studio 8? e.g. I add say, Fruity Blood Overdrive to the first slot on the mixer and it applys that effect to every pattern, how do I stop this by making it only add that effect to one pattern?

^what he said

it would be cool if you could apply an fx to every element of a pattern and only for that pattern... Like pattern fx slots or something. For really random stuff.

I guess you could always bounce that pattern to audio and do it that way, but I want this way :e:

You can do that with automation.

Send each element of the pattern to a different mixer slot, add the FX. Then automate the mute button on each effect so it only comes on when you want it to, hey presto, done.
