after the bar last night i watchd this shit up until when they're in the gocery store and the earth quake happens or whatever

left where I was and went home after that. and i have no interest in finishing the movie at another time.

I saw it coming though...it's not surprising that it was weak. coulda been good but of course thats too much to ask from these people

Anything from the same guy who made Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow was always gonna suck.

Both movies are pure jokes. I ain't even gonna bother wasting my time or money on this. Waiting for "Where the Wild Things Are".

I really enjoyed the movie tbh. Commercial as fuck, totally not original, stupid in every single way, but I enjoyed it anyways.

You probably couldn't cram more cheese and corniness into a disaster movie. It felt like 5 movies squeezed into one. I won't say it was horrendous as I sorta knew what I was getting myself into. But it could've been much better.

Both the Russian guys were quality though.

Lest we forget this was a Hollywood blockbuster what do people really expect?!
yeah its cheesy and could have had an hour left on the cutting room floor, but as far as disaster movies go, it was good.

I more or less agree with this 2bf. I did find it incredibly inaccurate with extra cheesiness but special fx were good and i did get what i expected in watching a movie where the planet and the majority of humanity gets destroyed. :)

I have never ever seen such fake driving scenes in all my life. Back projection, studio lighting on the actor's faces.. a la 1950s B/W movies.. And even when they're supposed to be outdoors, it's so obvious they're super-imposed on the CG happening behind them, even the colour of the film is different during the CG scenes.

Very very very fake.

Yes, my girlfriend dragged me into the cinema to watch it. And in Jakarta, they're still queuing outside the theater doors for tickets.

not seen yet-dont think it will be all that. im more annoyed at how inaccurate it will be.. to take it to the extreme it will act as disinformation / cloud the real deal.
