I want a bike badly. But I'd probably end killing someone.

nice!

my first bike, was like this 68' guzzi, but black tank and black body. it died about 7 months after i bought it. piston problem, that eventually blew the main gasket. it would've cost me thousands to rebuild the motor. scrapped it for parts.

Calgary is nextdoor to BC isn't it? Be some awesome dirt bike country up there, lucky git. I used to fly around on a quad bike when I helped out at a paintball site doing marshalling but I was only 16 and never really had the balls to open it right up.

That bike seckle posted is stunning. Reminds me of the Norton Commando which is a beautiful bike:

yeah it's next to bc, lot's of good trails around,i know some like 20 km long for great exploring. but the weather is usually crap until june and i generally get out of the country in early july.

next year i'll just go every possible day and finally get some skills built up 8)

I don't like a lot of modern bikes, especially the Nippon ones. I like the old ones with tubular steal, chrome in the right places, round speed dials, and being able to see the behemoth of an engine. I also quite like Olivetti scooters :D

My old man, before he married my Thai mother, was a Mod with foxtails and a thousand mirrors on his bike, something a bit like this, hahaha. It was him who got me into bikes but also told me I could never have one - he nearly killed himself and my mother a few times so...
