i dunno i honestly don't feel that bad about the fish....i feel bad in general that people will eat animals happy living in ignorance of any suffering they may have gone through...so this...i'm desensitised to this...
it's a part of their culture and i'm sure they have customs we don't understand that lead them to have live fish fry tournaments etc....we should maybe just respect they're different

You really have to appreciate the knife skills of the Chef. The fish doesn't seem too bothered by the situation. It's probably dead anyway, just nerve endings making it look alive. I'm not sure a Fish can survive boiling hot oil.

I really don't see the need for this, I'm no vegetarian, I don't normally get vocal about eating animals, it's all part of the food chain, but doing it this way is just cruel and unneccessary. We developed humane ways to kill animals for food yonks ago, so why go back to being stnuc to animals?

I got really upset when i read this in the paper yesterday
Started to imagine being the fish and being poked about and burnt.
If I was the fish I'd rather just be killed than being eaten alive.
It's like a blimin zombie horror for the fish
But like Piston said it's a part of their culture and is something we don't understand.

Why let a fish suffer like that its just crazy! I'm all for killing and eating the fish but don't get my kicks out of watching something suffer like that, its just pure evil. I wish Jesus was here he would stop things like this from happeneing
