Does anyone know the price of a digital master at transistions or Masterpiece. or indeed any other top name mastering house for dubstep??

I have emailed them but its taken a long time to get a reply and need to start planning which to use. any advice or recommendations would also be good :) wanna invest a bit more in my latest tracks and get the best mastering i can for them and step up from the small mastering houses . (looking to spend £30-50 per track i guess)

That's a healthy budget though man. For 30-50 quid a tune you can most likely get Beau Thomas @ Masterpiece, Sam @ Precise, Shane @ Finyl Tweek, more as well, escape me at the minute. Let's face it, these people are the guvnors and you can probably afford em on that budget. You won't be disappointed!

Have you just called them? They're usually pretty good on the phone.

Ask em yourself, prices arn't generally as static as they seem, give some detail about your project too, it's very handy :)

You will find peoples prices vary wildly, I guess it depends
what you are after ultimately, so many players.

I am redoing some hipe hop masters tommorrow that someone paid GBP57.00 per track for
and they did not like the results.

Expensive does not always mean good.

Hope you get a result.
