Hey guys, new to the forum! I'm a 16 year old producer and I've been producing drum and bass for nearly a year now, and I'm looking to get into dubstep. the norm bpm is like 138-140 but dont let people say u cant lower or higher it

Congrats on getting played on Radio 1, obviously you are up to some good stuff.

As mentioned before by someone on here. It doesn't need a wobble to make it Dubstep

You don't need to know anything. Make your own style of dubstep (don't start producing wack ass wobblers) and don't listen to anything people tell you on this forum cause it's mostly bullshit from people who don't know what they are talking about.

I wouldn't set out to make 'dubstep.' Although it's difficult to shake off labels and genres make something of your own.
