I was very kindly invited by the people running Cassette NYC (www.cassettenyc.com) to do a little set at the beginning of their regular night last week. Fair to say i was in amazing company with the likes of Machine Drum, Lando Kal, FaltyDL and Poirier all throwing down on the night. I put together a little selection of beats from people I know, who i think are dope and who probably dont get heard much out in NYC. I think it came out ok, so i recorded a cleaner version on the way back. Jetlag and coffee infused beats. 45 mins of emotronic, future fonk for the soul. Or whatever the fuck you want to call it this week.
