1. Liked this one muscically but there were a few flaws, The sidechaining got slightly in
the way at times, i reckon the kick was a little too dominating over the bass. If your
gonna go for that approachyou would have to do less kicks and the rolls just dwarfed
everything at points. Shame could have been have sweet.... bit on the short side too

2. Busy drums!!! I guess i like mine quite slow, but i reckon this is a bit too busy for my
liking with all them hi hats everywhere..... wouldn't push it out of bed for farting though.
The track really got good when the midrange went and the track could breathe a bit
more.... not sure about the vocal samples, just sort of dotted around a bit... but thats
just opinion. Strong sub too, i like those.

3. Great Intro, untill the vocal, doesn't really suit the track i don't think.... and the bass is
great, could do with a bit more of a drop though.... i think you thought the same and
repeated it a bit too much!!! THAT IS NOT ALLOWED.... haha, a little variation can do
alot you know. Had potential!

4. Like the bass, hats could have done with some tweaking. Maybe could do with a bit
more fullness, when the bass goes it becomes very empty... also i lold a bit during the
slow down.... "smaaaaaalll villlaaaages"..... ahhhh hamlet attack. The synths a bit too
plucky and gets slightly annoying after a while. I like the way it starts to build up though,
towards the end, could have a fit in another drop i reckon

5. Bass could done with a bit more grr, and the recurrring stab was a bit too
dominating, and the melody could have changed up a bit... Nice atmosphere though
(I have started doing quick concise reviews cos it gets boring analysing music for so
long.....)

6. AHHH Skream rip off alert... or not... the subs a bit quiet, i quite like the bassline
develops into a proper growler by the end... could have done with a bit of lead i
reckon...

7. BIG KICK! Like the blood, somehow made the sample sound like a man... clever fella
you are me likey... and i'm not a sexist, its just different to the rest... love the drop
though.... sick bass... like the guitar amp sort of noise... real nasty... this for the win i
reckon....

8. Same old entrance.... that is some nice minmalist bass you got going though, gotta
give him that. I prefer this kind of wobble to the usual blaring you get rusko bollocks you
get.... The reverb made it sound a bit metallic in the background... not really liking that
too much... sort of comes and goes a little, needed something a bit more memorable...

9. Dirrttier bass needed here.. Nice play with volume though keeps you from noticing
the slightly boring beat.... yeah meatier snare needed, not enough sound design to
justify the short length though...

10. Like that bass, and awesome sub, would love to know how you manage to get that
out of samples.... please???? Flange sort of effect is really cool, hi hats are a bit quiet...
bass is even dirtier when it comes back, maybe a bit more volume and thickness....
and it fucking stops!!!!!! what!!! that was winner potentail there...

11. Like this nice drop, meaty bass... the synth was a bit kind compared to the bass...
sort of felt strange.... i fell asleep by then but it was definitely in the top halfo of the
tracks.....

ahhhh, i gave bck to the community!!!!

1. Could use some work on the drums, definitely more EQ, love the break "Bass! Bass! Bass!", less ducking next time for certain.

2. Enjoyed the melody and breaks, deep tune, drums sound clean, well done.

3. Love the synth bits in this one, great build up, would like to see more emphasis on the snare, nonetheless great production, especially with this sample pack. As last and least mentioned acapella doesn't really suit the track.

4. Need more bass presence, fill up the drums.

5. Snare is lacking a bit here, could add a bit more presence, perhaps slight verb, loved the bit after the break!

6. Reminds me of another tune, can't really remember the name of it, but could definitely use more elements, bigger drums, bigger bass.

7. Production quality is superb here, big sound, heavy drums, this one got my vote.

8. Really enjoy the minimal approach, could use some more EQ on drums, give more presence to additional elements.

9. Where are the drums! definitely needs more presence.

10. Disgusting entrance, big tune as well, another one of my favorites coming out of the sample pack competition, great production, love the background synth stabs, I would have never thought to make such a bass!

11. Another banger, quality production here as with the most of the tracks, love the drop and bass at 1:30+, well done.

Good job everyone... Badass tunes. Just keep in mind there's 12 tracks, not 11.

Everyone make room for another tune, just got this one in late, I can't re-edit the post otherwise I will lose all submissions and everyone will have to vote again.

If you vote for 12 just post a reply on this thread.

1) Goddamn... sidechain meltdown. Other than that, could've gone somewhere further in the short amount of time it had. More dynamics would help, and not just loud/soft/loud transitions.

2) Nice atmospherics on the intro; the 1st bass drop left me wanting it to be more nasty & dutty, while the next bass drop was more like it.

3) Fine track and all, although I wonder if the creator used a bunch of their own sampler presets (it feels like it's being treated kind of generically.) Not pushing the stylistic envelope by any reckoning, but the arrangement/structure says you know what you're doing.

4) This tune reminds me of being fucked up on cough syrup and watching kids' shows. I call it... Wooz-Step! Nicely unique sound, although the mix starts to get unbalanced when the drum distortion really kicks in - doesn't play nice w/ the kind of delicate harpsichordy synths you've got going there. More melodic variation and a more balanced mix could really take this one somewhere.

5) Have a hard time with this one. It's put together fine - the arrangement is standard - but the first part doesn't really stand out so much, and when the
break/bass drop hits it seems to be lacking "oomph" and I'm not sure if that's a mix issue or what. The technique here has a lot of potential: it's just not clicking for me in this track.

6) An interesting departure from the rest of the tunes. Definitely different vibe than most people seemed to be going for (maybe the movie sample set the tone for most peeps here?) When it gets all dutty and clown-swingy it really starts to stand out. Decent mix and very interesting sounds as well. I think any comparisons people make might be in the ballpark, but I wouldn't call it derivative either.

7) Heh - the movie sample in the beginning sounds like an effeminate man in this one. Big beefy bruiser of a bassline and a chunky beat... this track isn't trying to tiptoe into your house so much as kick a new door in the wall. Like the distortion stuff going on a couple minutes in. The mix loudness is a little fatiguing after a while though. Brickwave Syndrome?

8 ) Thick with atmosphere & abstract beats at first, I kind of liked where it appeared to be going. Like the bassline throughout - woulda been cool to see the beats stay in that kind of off-kilter organic abstract mode instead of switching into the regular halfstep bidness.

9) Kind of a weird, quirky vibe to this; cool, minimal, and original. The mix has almost no mids though(and I'm not talking midrange cack either) - it's all bass & mid-hi's upwards. Has the beginnings of an interesting tune nonetheless.

10) Decent mix quality more or less, interesting sounds. Arrangement didn't stand out til it got to the breakdown.

11) Got right to the point - nice. Solid all around, just needs a little tiny bit more polish maybe (or not). Strong track, should be released. Had me bouncin'.

12) Also pretty straightforward. Well paced, busy, funky shit. Mix sounds good too, enough to stand out among the other contenders at least. The filtered wobble drop a couple minutes in could benefit from a pass in the Baxxpander VST imho.
