Serrato or Final scratch

Post by mrjiggyfly » Fri Jan 13, 2006 7:00 pm

I've heard serrato is a better product than final scratch

any info and opinions would be appreciated

peace

If chefs plan to distribute mp3's, .wav, or whatever ever happens, I'm going to need one or the other

serato has a much better waveform preview. finalscratch/traktor is good as well, but the layout of the mixer is about 15 buttons too much.

Serato has revolutionised the way I mix.

It has all the enjoyment of mixing vinyl with a quarter the weight!

Are many dj's in the dubstep scene are using this tecchnology now? Or is there some hold- from the vinyl purists?

Dubplates are all good, but until I'm raking in a guaranteed £600 a week I simply can't afford to cut 10 new dubs a week

I know you can have 4 virtual decks on Traktor 3, but can you have 3/4 deck mixing with Serato or Final yet? From the shots there's only 2 'decks' onscreen.

If you have a 4 channel mixer you can run two more real decks on the other channels
