And the second is Dark JazzLush material from DFRNT, providing his slick 'Therapy' cut backed with remixes from Quantec and Ital Tek. Both remixes improve greatly upon the original, removing the nu-agey flutes from the sleek dubstep chassis and in Quantec's case, taking the track on a warm and tender dub-house jaunt while keeping the rhythmic motor purring with enough momentum in the bass and crafty stepping edits to keep going in the right direction. Ital Tek's mix is probably one of the best tracks we've heard from him, unreliant on the glitches that pock his work for Planet Mu, instead using his skills to shape a tuff-swinging garage riddim with luscious synthline arrangements to warm the sets of any heads into Scuba, older Spatial releases or Boxcutter. Smart.

A2 - DFRNT - The Warmest (Original)
B1 - DFRNT - Dark Jazz (DJ Madd Remix)
B2 - DFRNT - Lounge (Indigo Remix)

The Indigo remix didn't appear on the album - so I'd suggest checking it out seriously - It's a belter!Proficient deep steppers from DFRNT, lifting two more tracks from his 'Metafiction' LP backed with remixes from DJ Madd and Indigo. 'Dark Jazz' and 'The Warmest' display a well trained sound, buffed at the edges and filled with respectable jazz musicality over post-garage steppers rhythms. DJ Madd toughens up with his hardstepping remix and Indigo gets crafty with a swerving, slash-mixed version on the flip.
The vinyls should appear in stores soon if they're not already available.
