Can't comment on the other stuff but you'll be more than happy with the KRKs. I got mine last week and they fakkin rock!!

Fuck Dolphin tho. Bought a Nano pad from them last year and the thing never worked. Tried to get in touch with them about it and they weren't interested. I go DV247 or GAK now. Up to you tho.

Enjoy :D

It's more the cables, Im not a great "cable guy" so to speak :P will everything work fine from the setup?

I'd hate for everything to arrive to realise I've forgotten something/brought the wrong cables.

Yeah, it's what I use. You can also get XLR which are balanced as opposed to the RCA's which are unbalanced. What this means I don't know but I imagine balanced is better. Could be wrong tho...anyone???

Just a bump, but is anyone aware of a decent USB (or soundcard) with XLR for around £70?.

Cheers

As gear4music have a really worthwhile deal

Im not a fan of the rp8's, sound is way to "cardboard-like", dont know what to recommend, sorry.

EDIT:

maybe the yamaha HS80's, they sound nice and flat.

Don't use RCA!! 1/4 TRS or XLR all the way . Rokits are good, got the 6's, very happy with them. Can't comment on the soundcard.

If you could reccommend a soundcard/interface <£70 that I could use xlr/trs with that would be great ^^

the 2469 seems wholely dependant on rca

In it's most basic form

balanced = less noise (because of the design of the cable)

now it's a short distance from you're pc/mac to your speakers (I'm assuming) so not sure how effective this would be, but if you had to choose between something that might be slightly less noisy and the other option which would you pick?
