“Brrrap! Launch Party” Zaterdag 30 Januari in de Bitterzoet
Tonight we celebrate the kickoff of the Brrrap! nights and also the first release of Brrrap! Records
Brrrap! started 2 years ago as a magazine covering Dutch Dubstep and urban culture. In 2010 Brrrap! is finally expanding into a monthly club night and also a Record Label. On Saturday, January 30th, 2010 we host the first of our monthly Brrrap! parties at Club Bitterzoet in Amsterdam. On this night we will be featuring producers from Brrrap! Records, namely Piro & Proxima from Eindhoven and TMSV from Utrecht. We have also invited UK artist RDubz, whom we featured in Brrrap! Issue #6. Filling out the bill is the well known Osiris along with MC Quest One and visuals by Class/A. Next to the music, the Brrrap! night will also feature an art work & clothing exhibition from the likes of Jelmer Noordeman, Zward, & Dstruct (Tegendraads).

Originally known for his Electro productions, RDubz has also been focusing on Dubstep lately, and brought to it a very melodic and dance driven vibe. Having recently released tunes on Basspunch Records and Haunted Recordings, RDubz is steadily gaining exposure in the Dubstep scene.
Piro & Proxima (Eindhoven, NL) –

Piro (known for his Dubstep sets at parties such as Oi!, Lockdown, and Sine) & Proxima (known for his DnB productions on international labels such as Frequency Recordings and Renegade Recordings) have teamed up to produce Dubstep with strong percussive tones, slight industrial influences, and lots of musical depth. Their first release together is actually the first release on Brrrap! Records (BRRRAP001 – Piro & Proxima – “ Distant Shores” / “Blue Dog”). To celebrate the release Piro & Proxima will be doing a live back-to-back set ranging from Dubstep to DnB.
TMSV (Utrecht, NL) –

Upcoming Dutch producer TMSV may not have much experience, but he’s got tons of talent. With forthcoming releases scheduled for 2010 on Brrrap! Records and other international labels. He’s someone you’ll be hearing a lot about in the coming year. Playing mainly his own productions, TMSV’s set will have the floor popping.

Osiris is one of holland’s top Dubstep DJ’s, having played at countless parties and festivals over the last 5 years. He also runs the Dutch Dubstep online forum (

Jelmer’s art can be seen in the upcoming Issue #7 of Brrrap! Magazine, but has also popped up on everything from scarves to the windows of the Diesel store in Amsterdam. His style is handdrawn with strong lines, loads of symmetry, and city inspired subjects. He also produces clothing, toys, and art with Zward.
