The Streets - Original Pirate Material

Just re-listened to this album for the first time in awhile, made me realise how much I love it, one of my favourite albums of all time. I know it's not dubstep, but it's garage, so it kinda fits with this forum.

Anyone else forgotten how good this album is? Re-listen!

Weak become heroes is one of the greatest tracks ive ever listened too, the album usually gets a amount of plays a couple of times a year in my house :W:

I always listen to that track on the way home from a night out, makes all the memories flood back, love it.

Also, did anyone ever catch the High Contrast remix of "It's Too Late"? For any DnB heads, it's fucking amazing!

good album. theres a few shit tracks on it but there is some real good stuff too. love has it come to this

definitely the street's best album, almost every track on it is brilliant.
high contrast's remix of its too late is incredible as well

the most original concept of music i have ever heard. he made that whole album start to finish in his bedroom. that album is geniues!! best piece of modern poetry around!!

I never liked the Streets.....and I do love alot of UK Hip Hop.

I'm more of a Pitman type of guy.

not really feelin mike skinner's new stuff
but I definitely rate this album..
Many, many plays when it came out

my fav tune off that album was "Has It Come To This?"
true lyrics and beats!

I found it a bit comedy when it came out, but it was a good social commentry of the times. All about this remix for me - "Let's Push Things Forward" (Zed Bias Dub Mix)

Pitman is straight up Hip Hop in it's purest form.....i.e.... funny, original and friggin awesome beats & samples!
