Same happened to me last week....
Not installed any of these yet but id say yes, i have had no issues with any software or drivers so far, i have reason 4 and ableton 8 running fine (touch wood), even the soundcard drivers weren't hassle. 7 Ultimate.

It seems that Windows 7 is more compatible with XP apps and the like than vista EVER was

forget the mac, the only time when the word "mac" can be used is if Bob "Macc" is around, because its all about the PC's :D

but only a serous note your home pc and your working pc should be two different computers

and I'd prefer a mac for production because the hardware is made just for that build of mac - thus meaning a smoother running machine nd its soul purpose will be making music, pcs can fuck off for making tunes after my HD dying and the countless stupid issues, I never get them on my gaming PC

My bad, i must have miss read(plus i think i have read way too much 2day)

Mann Mac's :? i dont like the mouse its useless man, thats why i bring a normal mouse when i got studio i just don't like the Mac mouses. Well yeah i guess it runs smoothly, running reason and pro tools. Plus its abit more powerful then "some" (not all ) Pc's. However, in the pass i have lost a few pieces of good work via using a mac and this has never happen on my pc. So how all Mac' sales man will tell you " Mac's are very reliable and stable" goes out the window for me.

I was just looking at the truepianos website and it seem that you should be ok.

"Compatibility updates for Windows Vista/7, Mac OS X 10.6"

Same for the N.I

"Native Instruments has conducted compatibility tests with Windows 7 that have shown current NI products to work without any specific issues under this operating system. "

However you may have a problem with cubase 5

"Windows XP or Windows Vista*"

Does not talk about windows 7 in its system requirements.

Cubase 5 - Yes on Win 732bit edition although asio drivers are a little flakey but steinberg are releasing an update mid december.
Reaktor 5 & FM8 - Iv'e had no problems what so ever on Win7 32bit edition.

The other 2 should work if they work on vista 32bit although might not on the Win7 64bit version.

I migrated all my stuff from Xp 32bit to Win7 32bit and everything I used on Xp is running on Win7 smooth as, you just have to watch for hardware driver issues like soundcards and graphics.

I have been building my own PC's for about 10 years and I have only had 1 HDD die and that was becuase I booted my PC across the room by mistake.

I think you are doing something wrong with your setup or the way you treat things.

btw, they all work on PC.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Doubtful, the HDD was 8 years old from the first PC I built, I dust, defragment and diskclean up once a month and every 3-4 months I re-wire the insides of my machines with new cables so I know everythings not going to mess up due to something stupid - I think it just decided its served me well enough! It was a shitty, cheap hard drive without a brand sticker at a computer fair 8 years ago, how it lasted this long is beyond me

I'm on 7 now, my gosh its sexy! Ive gotten everything to work apart from cubase (cause I haven't installed it yet)

I had some probs with a couple things on Win7, figured the problem out last night tho. Some shit, Waves in this case isn't compatible with aero theme or whatever the fuck its called. You really don't want that anyway. Go with the classic or basic theme and you should avoid some problems.

Pretty sure you can run like win95 programs on 7, pretty fucking ace job they did on the OS this time around.

Cubase 5 works on both 32-bit and 64-bit 7.

Vista is wank and XP is outdated, countless issues..

Haven't had 1 problem on 7 yet.

I use Ableton on Windows 7, not had any issues.

It is time to move on from XP I am afraid. I can understand holding on to XP as apposed to Vista (even tho I use Vista on my laptops) but win 7 kicks ass, let it go.
